At RomoGIS, we are moving the entire geospatial industry forward by creating professional innovation pipelines and workforce development opportunities that are aimed to develop the next wave of impactful leaders that use GIS For Good. We intentionally encourage more people to see themselves as powerful change agents and equip them with the in-demand skills to access upward social mobility opportunities and take initiative on addressing topics they authentically care about.
Our interdisciplinary programs support career entry, advancement, or cross-training in various sectors through capacity-building, professional certification, and workforce readiness. The GIS Pathways Program is a powerful learning ecosystem that focuses on youth development and mentorship to open new doors of opportunity and provide an additional career pathway for students through drone flight, geographic information systems (GIS), and real-world mapping applications. Through our GIS For Good Program, students develop critical thinking, public speaking, and advocacy skills while they leverage the power of their community expertise and innovative tools.
