Working with the Black Bottom Archives in Detroit, Michigan, RomoGIS team collaborated to develop a web experience to document, protect, and preserve archived and new history of Black Bottom and Paradise Valley. Preserving the oral histories and first hand accounts of these communities is crucial to celebrating and honoring the stories of past and current residents of Black Bottom and Paradise Valley. accessibility to food establishments throughout the City of Chicago. This web experience highlights over 120 historical sites in the Detroit region. This tool's interactivity redirects users to more information about any selected site illustrated on the map. The various actions allow users to explore the history in an interactive way with side-by-side comparison maps and street views of archived photographs. ecosystem of the City of Chicago and provides distinct stylization to represent the different communities throughout the city.
