"This program was not just information after information. There was a lot of fun to be had learning about data mapping and drones, the way it can be used with controllers, etc. So much stuff to do."

- Student from the GIS 2 Day Summer Camp

RomoGIS directs the GIS Pathways Program at the Frederick Douglass Academy for Young Men. In this program we train students to make maps, create visualizations and use GIS to create community change. Students at Frederick Douglass Academy learn how to use GIS to make a positive impact in their community. Our teachers and community partners offer over 20 years of collective experience in GIS, technology, and mapping. Along with gaining skills in data cleaning, spatial analysis, and data visualization students will also develop strong presentation and public speaking skills.
